We feel so lucky that Elijah came to help us today. Elijah is incredibly knowledgable and professional. He was kind, patient and polite and is a great communicator. He offered a solution to a hose bib location issue, which we have had for the last 18 months. It is currently located under a deck, so not very convenient or safe to use. We had several people, previously, look at the area and no solid solutions, or people to head up the project. Was replacing a shower faucet when I ran into an advanced issue I was not confident in fixing myself. Called 2 Sons Plumbing, was happy that they could send someone out the same day. Tyler showed up within 2 hours. He was very friendly, gave me 2 estimates based on whether I wanted him to just fix the issue and unblock me OR complete the rest of the job. I felt the pricing was very fair, so I had him complete the job. He did it efficiently, taking the time to share tips as he went and the final result looks great. My water heater decided it wanted to start leaking on a Saturday night. Full transparency, we knew it was on its last legs and would eventually need to be replaced, still the same not something we expected in that moment. Garage starting to get saturated with water, we immediately started googling plumbers in our area. We called around and we either could not get a hold of someone (who’s available Saturday evenings anyway?), we were out of their area, or they would have to put us on their schedule but could promise anything. Luckily, 2 Sons picked up (read the reviews before calling, and the reviews weren’t lying). The advisor on the phone (Chris?) was very friendly, was honest about all the costs up front (quoting the high end - full replacement, or other repairs if they were to go that route), and even helped us mitigate damage by telling us step by step how to turn off and drain the heater. This may seem trivial to some, but for someone who has limited handyman knowledge this helped out a ton. We were booked the next day, and Carey, our tech, arrived promptly at 8:30 AM. He was efficient, friendly and very knowledgeable. The quote over the phone for the replacement was exactly what was charged, being that our heater was over ten years old and leaking from the bottom we already knew this was the likely outcome. They didn’t try upselling. They showed care and even assessed some of the water to ensure we didn’t have anything else we needed to worry about. As far as the pricing goes, before we called 2 Sons we reached out to other plumbing companies to make sure we weren’t getting taken advantage of, and all I have to say about that is they were INCREDIBLY fair about their costs, coming in on a Sunday morning late notice. most quotes were coming in well over what 2 Sons was asking for. 100/10 recommend this company.
